My name is Ken Johnson. I am a North Carolina native and have been in the construction business for over 30 years. My first exposure to the building business was working with my grandfather as a teenager building bridges in eastern North Carolina.

I attended Clemson University and hold a degree in residential development. After graduating I began working in the construction industry in Charlotte NC. In 1983 I moved to Greensboro, NC to supervise construction for ACW Management Corp. In the 1990s I formed Trimco Builders LLC where I worked as operations manager until 2008. Here my focus was on the residential market. I have worked for years as a licensed building contractor, building and renovating homes. I have always had a hands-on approach enjoying both personally meeting with customers as well as being involved with building the home when my time allowed.

I share life with my wife, Karen, and we love to spend time with our family. We have two grandchildren, Lily Faye and Jackson who have truly stolen our hearts. We are very blessed to have a close family and enjoy being together. In my spare time, I enjoy building and selling children’s furniture under the company named for our grandchildren, LilyJack Creations.
