Dear George and Jan Wallace,
We would like to thank you for the outstanding job you did converting the “ugly concrete” floor we had in our garage to a “beautiful granite” floor! Only one word can describe it, “AWESOME”.
We are including pictures of the floor with our letter, but quite honestly, in this case a “picture is not worth a thousand words” and the pictures do not do justice to the beauty of our floor. You must see it yourself to understand how nice this floor system really is. Our restored 1951 Ford pick-up truck now has a home that brings out its beauty ten fold!
As you know, we were concerned about the slipperiness of the floor after the conversion, but those worries are gone. This system is less slippery than the bare concrete it replaced. And we believe the durability of this floor will give us many years of use.
So, thanks again, and please tell whoever is considering this floor system to give us a call so we can brag about it to them also!
Sincerely,
George and Hebe Lutz

George first came out to give me a free estimate for the work to be done. He told me what the floor preparation, application, sealing, curing process and price would be. His prices were better than the other three company estimates I received. But the price was one consideration. The deciding factor for me was George's chemical engineering background. Anyone with that kind of experience had to know a lot more than a regular "franchise shop." He prepped my three-car garage floor by diamond grinding the surface to clean and rough the surface. Then he put down the epoxy, design flakes and poly over the next few of days. I had several levels of epoxy and colors to choose from. I went with the gray epoxy with black and white flakes to match the cabinetry I was going to install.

Everything went according to George's plan. The floor looked and felt great. I had to wait a few days for the layers to cure before I could move my vehicles back into the garage. Now the new cabinetry is in, the garage looks great. I will be sending George some "after" photos to show the overall look. I would strongly recommend George and American Epoxy Floors if you are considering a new garage, workshop or basement floor. His price was the lowest and his planning and installation went exactly as quoted. He did all of this while I was on vacation. He called while I was away to let me know how the process was going. I left with a drab concrete floor and came back to a beautiful new garage.

We contacted with George after having seen some other finished garage floors in our area. We had also investigated the possibility of doing it ourselves with products from local stores but rejected the idea as it appeared to be a messy and potentially difficult job. We were right. George explained the process to us in detail and provided an estimate. Throughout the project we found George to be straight forward, honest and sincerely interested in giving the best possible result. He also kept us fully informed on his schedule, when he would be at our house, and where he was in the process. He warned us from the start that the epoxy has a very strong and piercing odor but that it dissipates fairly quickly as the material drys. We found this all to be very accurate. George was very sensitive to our needs and tried at all times to be as unintrusive to our daily routines as possible. All said, we are very pleased with his work and would certainly do it again.

We learned about American Epoxy Floors at the 2007 HomeArama where we first saw one of their floors installed in one of the show houses. When contacting American Epoxy for a quote we found them to be exceptionally prompt, responsive and professional. George came by our home to view the space, inquired about our goals and objectives for the space, educated us about the process and the range of products that they offer, and at that time was able to provide us with a ballpark price estimate which was later followed by a formal written estimate. As quoted, the job took two days to complete and was started and completed right on schedule and within our budget, and as estimated. As of this writing we've had the new floor installed for about one month. It's fabulous. The whole process was even better than we expected. Great work!

It went beyond all of our expectations. The company had heard the story about our daughter and her battle with cancer on the radio. They came out because we also had some water damage in our kitchen- they put epoxy flooring in the kitchen. They asked if there was any other place we needed this flooring. I told them that I had a dream of having the garage worked on with this flooring. They spent 5 days putting this flooring in our garage. They are compassionate, beyond professional, the cleanest crew, and were absolutely outstanding. They did the garage at no charge, as a donation for our daughter. For them to spend that amount of time on our garage floor, for free, was amazing. If anybody is looking to have any type of floor correction inside or outside of their house, they have to call this company. They are the best! They get an A+++!!
