If you are concerned about your floor being too slippery, then we can add an anti-skid agent to it. The anti-skid agent is not a gritty sand that is actually rough to the touch, but rather a fine powder that goes into the topcoat. The result is a surface that has a small amount of texture and is a lot less slippery. It also knocks off some of the gloss of the floor.

The pictures below show floors with and without anti-skid agent. Note the clarity of the reflections in the floor on the left without the anti-skid agent. The floor on the right has the anti-skid agent added and also has much less distinct reflections visible.
